    4.7.23

-added an 'eraser' tool for geo
-per pose PSD on/off evaluation toggles (green is ON)
-added an 'invert op' key (ctrl) - turns push to pull etc while it's down

4.7.20 - created a pretty novel approach internally to wighting psd bones - it'll hit your targets much more frequently without giving it much thought
- fixed the 2012 build for linux
- fixed some QT bugs
- changed tablet default to OFF

    4.7.17 - Fixes for Maya 2009
- Fixes for license identifier reporting for 2012

    4.7.15

-Fixes to the patern brush
-Better default values for brushes
-Projection overlay now initially sizes itself to viewport
-Subdivs weren't drawing full resolution in 'shaded' when using geometry brushes
-Vertex stencil display wasn't working in combination with textures
-Vertex color display wasn't working in combination with textures

    4.7.12

We've made major upgrades to the texture paint module too numerous to mention them all but here's a few :
-----we've added stencil masks, you can set texture stencil painting mode in the mode rollow, then use them in texture paint
-----major improvements in quality and speed, particularly texture brushes
-----we've added texture tiling support (the type that mudbox and mari use) - you turn it on in the AE under the output geom settings

we've made 'undo' a bit smarter for geo, consumes a lot less memory

4.6.27 fixes an osx problem where it complains about missing ssao
adds texture paintin and dynamic masks - still a few kinks
known issues : - default patterns don't appear to be getting installed
- ssao masks not working
- the sculpt smooth tool moves geom even in texture mode

4.6.18 simplified texture display shader for wider compatibility
    4.6.17 fixed batch rendering
4.6.16 fixed performance issue for people who have tablets
4.6.13 Fixed a problem wiht reading files that have PSD shapes in them on linux
Fixed a smooth brush problem

4.6.2 Added 'texture mush' feature for projection painting
sped up texture painting

4.5.31 Finally found and fixed a tangent space issue with shooting verts that we've been trying to find for ages.
4.5.30 Tuned octree settings, sculpting is a bunch faster
4.5.29 Optimized CS and PSD for object space, evals are a bunch faster
4.5.28 FIX : a couple more refference issues
FIX : sculpt undos were not staying undone
TODO: still need to optimise the coord system translations on PSD and CS

4.5.27 FIX fixed some crash bugs with file referrencing
FEATURE added the "object space" option to PSD, it's the new default - SLOW will optimise tomorrow

    4.5.26

FIX toggling CS layers on and off was not refreshing the display
FEATURE added a new 'interpolation space' rollout in the corrective sculpt. We're defaulting it to object space at the moment because it seems to be working really nicely - if you want to go back to tangent space though you can.

    4.5.25

FIX sculpt return for linux now working for versions <2011 (no QT)
FIX added some better logic about falling back to no shader mode for cards that are pre opengl 2.0 and pulled out any opengl calls that require anything above opengl 1.1 - should work on pretty much any card at this point. - if it doesn't tell me.
FEATURE added 'damage rect' prefference which only updates the viewport in the affected areas, much faster for big models if you have a card that isn't retarted about pixel blitting.
NOTE : this version will reset your LBrush prefs

    4.5.23

- hotkeys working for all platforms on maya 2011
- hotkeys working for all versions of windows and all versions of osx (still not working for <2011 on linux)
- sculpt return now working on all versions of windows and all platforms for 2011
- opengl falls back to the 'noshader' mode if you have an older card (so should be functional on just about any card)
- added a relax brush

    4.5.22

- FEATURE -Adds hotkeys for all windows versions. (B=BRUSH SIZE S=KEYFRAME)
- WORKAROUND FOR GREATER COMPATABILITY - We no longer use buffer reads to update regions of the screen (to problematic on many cards - amazingly slow on some), and have opted for a fallback resolution for the geometry while you're sculpting or orbiting. Lower number means faster, I'm pretty comfy at about 400,000. You can set it in LipService->prefs (you'll need to scroll down) This solution should be more broadly compatible and uniform in terms of performance.

    4.5.21 *internal experiment
    4.5.20 Fixed OSX builds
    4.5.19

Fixed Damage Rect on Drag tools
Corrective Sculpt no longer requires a rig (just geom)
Hotkeys no longer interfere with dialogue boxes (hotkeys currently only available in 2011)

    4.5.18 Fixed 4 view drawing
4.5.17 Fixed a crash with Maya 2009 and projection textures (maya 2009's API is not threadsafe)
    4.5.16 <internal testing>
4.5.15 fixes PSD rollout layout in maya 2009
    4.5.14

-fixes an issue with maya 2009

    4.5.13

-fixes falloff problem with the brush on mahines that haven't installed LS before

    4.5.12

- corrective sculpt will now make a neutral target for you if you haven't defined one before you keyframe, instead of throwing an error and failing (it will also create a CS track)

    4.5.11

-added stencil transfer buttons for editing part weights
-BUG:shuttlig time no longer changes tool selection for corrective sculpt mode
-BUG:fetch now fetches the targets at 100%, no animation tracks until new time or live update
-'s' key will now keyframe corrective sculpt shapes
-'b' key will now size the sculpt cursors
-'clear work area' now works properly
-added 'exit' button to exit the editing mode explicitly
-optimized display pipeline with Pixel Buffer Objects (should be alot faster for some people)

    4.5.1

1) flexors are now known as 'corrective shave animation'
2) have reworked the corrective shape workflow - there are no longer target cells, you just create a key on a particular frame (and you can delete them on the timeline)
3) important note, changing time no longer kicks you out of the shape editor, if you want to exit the editor you have to use either maya's selection arrow our ours on the toolshelf
4) added PSD and Performance Group toggles to animation tracks and gotten rid of the "PSD" checkbox
5) bugs - adding a subdiv level to an object that already had targets was messing up psd shapes
6) bugs - some imports of old scenes were getting track errors
7) bugs - PSDs CSA and phonemes didn't sum correctly
8) bugs - some confusion on the timeline over keyframe display
9) bugs - problem with falloff graph curve interpolation
10) bugs - colro vertex display in 'no shader' mode
11) bugs - PSD's not coming close enough to hitting their targets
12) bugs - some bugs with deleted phoneme cells
13) bugs - creating new cells was duplicating old cell names

4.1.21 fixes

0) 32 bit windows does not build
1) performance targets are still messed up on the old_phoneme  file.
2) problem with selections still :
     create sphere
     divide x 3
exit to maya and select faces
return to lbrush (selections are totally crazy)
3) problems with transformation outside lbrush (related to #2)
     create sphere
     divide x3
exit to maya and select faces
     translate them
     return to lbrush (crazy shapes)
4) rename "flexors" rollout to "Sculpt Corrections Animation (post rig)"

4.1.20 fixes 1) memory leak when I load the 'fat_psd.mb' scene and just shuttle time back and fourth, I lose about 10MB each lap.
2) when you select 'add part' the highlighted selections in the viewport should clear to black (when highlight selection is on)
3) when you toggle parts on or off, invalidate the display cache is invalidated, but you notthe psd evaluation (you should, if it's on)
4) also the 'parts' listbox does not update on load, it updates once you start selecting around though.
5) 'delete part' deletes the first item on the list of parts regardless of what is highlighted
6) if you have 'highlight active parts' on and you move time, the highlight goes away (but the checkbox does not)
7) "do not update" not working for neutral replacement on poses.
8) possibly related to 7, when I fetch poses with 'fetch joints' off, and fetch offsets from another pose, the shape that comes in is pretty crazy, crazier than it should be.
9) I'm unable to delete my phoneme keys on an old scene (scene attached)
10) associated performances do not turn off when I turn off a phoneme track in the animation layers menu
11) I got into a situation where my tools wouldn't come up again - have to try this repro again to see if it repeats, but I believe these were the steps:
      a) load fat_psd.mb
      b) one by one, delete all the psd poses
      c) one by one, delete all the parts (some listbox update weirdness here as I recall)
      d) fetch the neutral
      e) click on sculpt - tools don't come up on the left no matter what I do
12) blendshape does not work right on the whole geometry - load in the attached scene, and do a blendshape around the mouth - you'll notice the lips open up - but why are the teeth staying put? they should be opening up as well - why aren't they?
